Tuition Scholarship

Ketchikan Theatre Ballet is unable to offer scholarships for

the 2020-2021 school year.

Ketchikan Theatre Ballet's Scholarship policy is designed to promote students’ disciplined study of high-quality dance instruction. Scholarships are awarded to students based on financial need. Applications are due to the business office no later than August 15th. Awards for August through May can range from 5% to 50% of the total tuition.

Participation fees, costume fees, fundraising fees and annual registration fees are not covered by scholarship funds and must be paid by parents. Scholarships may be applied to the first two classes a dancer is registered in. Any additional classes will be the responsibility of the parents.

Only members of Ketchikan Theatre Ballet who are in good standing are eligible to receive scholarships. If an individual is receiving financial aid through another organization, that amount will be taken into consideration as well. Award funds will be credited to the student's account in 2 installments. A progress report from the student’s instructors is required prior to the second installment being credited to the account to insure the student is adhering to the conditions of the scholarship. Students who fail to adhere to the conditions of the agreement will risk losing their scholarship.
