Jesse received his dance training on scholarship both at the University of Arizona’s School of Dance and at The Joffrey Ballet School in New York where he was a member of the Joffrey Ballet Concert Group. He graduated with a BA in Communication from the University of New Mexico and graduated from the University of Arizona with a BFA, both Magna Cum Laude. Currently, Jesse dances with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet in New York. Jesse was a member of The Suzanne Farrell Ballet from 2013-2017. Previously, Jesse has been a dancer with Ballet NY, Dayton Ballet, and Orlando Ballet and has appeared several times as a guest dancer in New Zealand. He has performed as a guest artist with Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, the National Dance Institute of New Mexico, and with the Santa Fe Opera. Since its inception, he was part of Alessandra Ferri’s The Piano Upstairs, which premiered at the Festival dei dui Mondi 56 in Spoleto, Italy.

Jesse has taught throughout the New York tri-state area as well as in Montana and New Zealand. In addition, he is a certified personal trainer through the National Council on Strength and Fitness. His teaching incorporates a myriad of ideas developed through his dance training and performing experiences, particularly with The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, as well as his physical fitness background and martial arts training. He first came to Ketchikan for KTB's Big Summer Dance Camp in 2019 and excited to be in this new role of Guest Artistic Director at KTB this fall.
